About us
We introduce you to local guides. You plan the trip with them.
Guide Me Egypt is an introduction platform for tour guides in Egypt. Every guide gets a page that shows who they are, where they work, the languages they speak and photos from their tours, with a direct way to reach them.
How it works
- 1
Find your guide
Look through guide pages: the areas they cover, their languages, experience and photos from real tours.
- 2
Contact them directly
Message the guide on WhatsApp or by email. Your message goes straight to them, not through us.
- 3
Plan it together
Agree on the dates, the itinerary and the price with your guide, then see Egypt with someone who knows it well.
Before your tour, confirm the date, meeting point, what's included and the price with your guide in writing. A WhatsApp message is enough.
What we are
- A place where tour guides in Egypt present themselves professionally.
- A way for visitors to find the right guide and reach them directly.
- Free for guides to join.
What we're not
- Not a travel agency or a tour operator.
- We don't sell tours or take bookings.
- We don't handle payments between you and the guide.
- Not affiliated with Egypt's Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities or the Tour Guides Syndicate, and we don't speak for them.
Who's behind it
Guide Me Egypt is developed and operated by MF Developers, the company responsible for the platform. We're not an anonymous company: you can email us directly at contact@guidemeegypt.com
How we make money
- Joining and a guide's page are currently free, and we take no commission from guides or from their dealings with travelers.
- Later, only optional services such as featured pages, advertising or marketing services, announced in advance.
- We will never impose a surprise percentage or take a cut of a guide's fee.
What the blue badge means
A blue badge next to a guide's name means we've seen their official tour-guide license. A guide without it may still be excellent; we just haven't checked their license yet.
